This exploring and experiemnting project that I did for FabAcademy’s Wildcard Week Assignment is a journey through different materials, techniques, and processes.
1- Sleeves:
A demonstration of a technique to 3D print on fabric, using several heated layers of the bodies before adding the fabric to create 3D sleeves.

2- Top:
Non-stitched faux leather top, inspired by the geometric Islamic art. These modules are produced using a laser-cutter.

3- Bottom:
The bottom to this outfit was a laser cut acrylic skirt. The solid sheet became flexible by adding living hinges. It also contained a thread painted with thermochromic paint, when attached to an electrical source, the paint changes color from black to white.
